Ian & Celina Martin | discipleship directors
Celina and Ian moved to Prague in 2016 from Birmingham, UK having served for four years with Betel, a global ministry dedicated to making disciples among drug-addicts and alcoholics. Married in 2009, they are artists in dance, poetry and music and are passionate cultural advocates for a Christ-centred worldview. In 2012 they trained in theology and apologetics at Oxford University with Ravi Zacharias Ministries and have since been involved in university evangelism and speaking ministry.
Celina is from Birmingham, UK and her family is Jamaican. She has worked as a teacher-artist in dance since she was sixteen and has completed studies in Music (BA, Coventry University), Dance Pedagogy (Trinity Laban) and Theology and Art (Fuller Seminary). She loves musical theatre and ballroom dance, plays violin and cello, is definitely a 'dog person', and is a certified member of the Tea Appreciation Society.
Ian was born in Pennsylvania, USA, but raised as a missionary kid in Spain and the UK. He holds degrees in Hispanic Studies (BA, UCL), History of Christianity (MA, University of Birmingham) and Audio Engineering (SAE, London). He writes and produces hip-hop music under the name Neuma and has worked as a freelance audio engineer and tutor. He loves to play basketball and is a self-confessed pizza geek and coffee snob.
Together, their ministry oversight at ICP includes directing Youth Praha, managing The Bridge Centrum as well as developing church discipleship.
