Heeding the call to pursue justice. Join us in fighting the problem of human trafficking.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,

    because the Lord has anointed me

to bring good news to the poor;

    he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

to proclaim liberty to the captives,

    and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor,

    and the day of vengeance of our God;

    to comfort all who mourn;

to grant to those who mourn in Zion—

    to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,

the oil of gladness instead of mourning,

    the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;

that they may be called oaks of righteousness,

    the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

-Isaiah 61:1-3 ESV

Anti Trafficking Task Force

ICP's Anti-Trafficking ministry has been working alongside other believers and organizations in Prague for a number of years doing outreach in Prague's red light district and fighting against the evils of modern day slavery.

Currently, members of ICP have been taking part in meetings for the development of a organisation which can do outreach programmes and events in the city and in the long term, set up a Christ-centered community living situation in which women can reside while receiving counseling, pastoral care, employment, vocational training, education, and a sense of belonging and hope for the future.

The group currently consists of roughly 25 people connected through a common desire to see God glorified and for the disenfranchised and rejected of society to be loved into the Kingdom. Though this is still the early stages, we're excited to see what God has for us moving forward.

This intercongregational group started meeting in February 2014 and will be holding events for for the women on a regular basis and praying about how God is leading us in the coming months.  The Well is a ministry that seeks to provide holistic healing for victims of human trafficking.
