Mike Weiglein | Pastor

Mike has been the pastor at ICP since the fall of 2022.  Originally from Virginia in the USA, he and his wife Vail have three children, Presley, Ella and James.  Mike's introduction to ministry was as a volunteer youth leader during his undergraduate years at The College of William and Mary.  Since then he has served several churches as a youth and children's ministry leader and as an associate pastor.  He attended seminary at Duke Divinity School and is ordained in the Presbyterian Church (USA). 


ELDERS


TREVOR MARSHALL | ELDER

Trevor moved to Prague in 2005 with Ali and their two daughters Harriet and Emelia. Previously they lived in Gloucestershire in the South West of England. Trevor served as an elder from 2006 to 2014, and returned to the elders in the spring of 2016. He plays guitar and bass in the music team, and is on a campaign to introduce cricket to the few countries where it is not widely known. He works as a freelance photographer and writer. Ali and he host a Tuesday night home group. 

 

PRESTON PEARCE | ELDER

Preston is from Louisiana, in the USA. He and Karen have been married since 1990. They have 4 adult children. The Pearces have been in Europe since 1995—first in Romania, and since 2001, in Prague. Preston has served on the staff of 4 churches and was a pastor before moving to Romania. The Pearces serve with the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board in theological education & leadership training.

 

DAN STINE | ELDER

Dan is from upstate NY in the USA. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in his second year at the University of Pittsburgh. After receiving his master's in education, he moved to Thailand in 2003 to teach at a Christian bilingual school, and eventually moved into full time ministry at a seminary, The Bangkok Institute of Theology, teaching leadership skills and pedagogy while working with a ministry to bar girls called The Well; a ministry he has continued with in Prague. In Thailand, Dan met Liza and they married in 2006. The Stines have lived in Prague since 2007 where they teach at Riverside School. Having felt strongly called to adopt, Liza and Dan have been blessed with two lovely daughters, Junia and Rosalie who were born in 2011 and 2012 respectively. At ICP, Dan served in Sunday School and on the I.T. team for two years and as a deacon for three years. He chaired the deacons for two years. He has been an elder since 2014.

 

JOB YAN | ELDER

Job is originally from Singapore. His wife Jana is a native of Prague. Together, they have two grown children. Job spent over 20 years in international business. His job had taken him and his family to several Asian countries. Before relocating to Prague in 2004, they lived for seven years in Hong Kong. For many years, Job led the Prague Chinese fellowship until it grew to become an independent church. Job works now as an independent business consultant. At ICP, he oversees the operations of the Bridge Centrum, and regularly plays cello in the Sunday worship team.


DEACONS


Mastona Khalilova | DEACON

Mastona was born and raised in Tajikistan, to a muslim society and a big family, she lived most of her life in her home country. After she graduated from one of the American Universities in Europe, her career path brought her to Prague in February 2018. It was rather to choose obedience over "her ways." She joined ICP since her first Sunday and made it her home from that day onward. Perhaps, this song better projects her journey with her Lord "The more I seek You, the more I find You, the more I find You, the more I love You!." Deeply in love with you, my Lord and my God.

 

Asha Jenifer Selvakumar | DEACON

Asha Jenifer is from India and moved to Prague for work with her husband Manoj Reuben. She was raised in a Christian family and has served in churches teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She is also pursuing Diploma in Theology. By profession, She is a Cyber Security Specialist. She and her husband loves food and travel. 

She loves the friendly, loving and Christ-centered environment at ICP

 

Myrna Wachtlova | DEACON

I am Myrna Wachtlova,originally from the Philippines.I am the youngest among 7 siblings. I am grew up without parents from the age of 7 but God was so faithful, He never leave me nor forsake me.God's call me into relationship,into a family where I experienced love and growth and taught me not to be served but to serve.From then I started my journey and walk by faith in the music ministry and children ministry in my mother church Jesus Christ Faith ministry in Cavite Philippines and also envolving  in the group of Christians from City of God Santuary preaching the gospel in schools in my beloved province Nasugbu Batangas and other different places for bible study. I moved in Czech Republic year 2010 to work and the desire to be with my sister whom we're separated for long time was fullfilled. Prague became my 2nd home land.My mission doesn't stop even here in Europe instead God put me to serve and commisioned as Deacon in 2014 in Prague Mission Church and served as worship leader in Filipino Christian Fellowship in Prague at the Bridge Centrum.Later on 2018, I decided to commit my life to serve at  ICP church (my first church attended since 2010 introduced by our dear Sis Teodora Kucharova) to fullfil the desire of heart to bring my whole family in one body of Christ.By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,now I am serving in music as worship back up singer and serving in communion with joy in my heart. I am married to Czech and blessed with one daughter.  To God be all the Glory!

 

Brant Hoekstra | DEACON

Brant Hoekstra grew up in South Texas and graduated from Texas A&M before moving to Colorado and marrying his wife Angel. Brant and his family moved to Prague in 2016.  Brant's background in biochemistry and IT have led to a career in the pharmaceutical industry.  He became a believer at a very young age and has been a part of the ICP audiovisual team since 2019 (he also occasionally sings with the worship team and/or delivers a sermon).

 

Manoj Reuben | DEACON

Manoj Reuben Ebenezer Jacob is originally from Tamilnadu, India and is married to Asha Jenifer. He has over 8 years of work experience in Sales, Service and Project Management. He moved to Prague in 2020 and currently works as a Transportation specialist. Born into a Christian family, he was affiliated with the Church of South India. He enjoys travelling, speaking about the word of God. He volunteers at the ICP helping out in the Sunday school and Service setup.

 

Jan Adamovic | DEACON

Jano is from Slovakia and was raised in Lutheran family. He moved to Prague for studies in 2008. In Prague, overpowered by the secular doctrine, he drifted from Jesus, just to be found again several years after. He works as business analyst and market risk specialist.

 

DANIEL MESSELE BALCHA | DEACON

Daniel is from Ethiopia. He came to Prague in September 2007 for his studies. He also spent some time in Geneva for exchange studies and internship programs between 2009 - 2011. Daniel has been teaching and working in various companies. He is currently working as a consultant and project director. Daniel and his wife Frehiwot have three lovely children

 

Aleksei Adzhem  | DEACON

Alex and his wife Alya moved to Prague in 2015. Before that they lived in Moscow, Russia and served at baptist church in Zelenograd. 

Alex was responsible for a media team and Alya was serving in a Worship team. They love travelling and exploring new places.
They try to be useful at church in any area they feel God has blessed them with ability to help.

Svetlana Tesik  | Church Administrator

Svetlana became a believer at a very young age and has spent most of her life serving in various missions and teaching in Christian programs.

In 2007, she relocated to Prague. Svetlana and her husband Roman have four wonderful children. In her free time, Svetlana enjoys traveling, blogging, coaching teenagers and their parents.

 

Miranda Mullen  | YOuth Praha Director

Originally from Arizona, Miranda moved to Prague in 2017 to work with the missions organization YWAM (Youth With A Mission). During her first months in Prague, she started volunteering at Youth Praha with a passion to see teenagers grow in their walk with God. Two years later she became the youth director in 2019 and loves to encourage youth from all different backgrounds and up bringings along side her husband Mitchell Mullen. She really enjoys the fellowship and what you can learn in an international community.
