WHO WE ARE
The International Church of Prague is a friendly, interdenominational church based near Andel. We’re committed to worshiping Jesus Christ, growing in His image, building strong communities, working with Czech Christians and taking the good news of Jesus Christ to all people.
We are interdenominational - this means that we are independent and autonomous in our governing structure. People from various traditions within Christianity co-operate freely in active membership, emphasizing those biblical truths which unite us in our love for the Lord Jesus and each other.
The church began as a small group of people meeting in the British and American embassies in 1988 to study the Bible and pray together. Following the Velvet Revolution a year later, lay-led Protestant services were held each Sunday. On Pentecost Sunday 1991, The International Church of Prague was formally established with a constitution, doctrinal statement and governing council and by the end of the year the first pastor was installed.
We think ICP is a great place to meet God, either for the first time, or if you’ve been a Christian for years. Going somewhere new is never the easiest thing to do, so we hope our website helps you learn more about us, and makes that first visit easier.
