ICP partners with numerous organizations and missionaries working to advance the gospel, show the love of Christ, and in other various ways serve the kingdom of God. Some of these organizations have opportunities for ICP members to get involved directly and others are supported through ICP’s mission’s budget.  Please click on the ministry partner links below to find out more. If you have questions about ICP’s mission budget, please write to the church office or speak to one of the elders.

... from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
— Ephesians 4:16

Betel

Betel is an international organization dedicated to reaching out and restoring broken lives. Whether that be due to drug and alcohol addiction, gambling, homelessness or sex-trafficking, Betel introduces individuals to the transforming power of Christ and His love. Whilst the center in Kralupy has previously focused on reaching out to men in the Czech Republic, primarily Prague, it has now also established its first safe house for women.

The program aims to minister to the whole person through job skills training, devotions & worship, and living in community with others. They have a vision of building up a generation of Czech leaders and reaching the nation for Christ.

Tomas Chvojka (Cru)

Tomáš & Jovana Chvojka have been working with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) since 1994 working in university campus ministry here in the Czech Republic. Here in the “Heart of Europe,” Czech Republic is vastly post-Christian and secular. Perceiving Christianity as a weary institutional religion with centuries of cruel history that happened in their homeland, Czechs have become nonplussed by it. Yet in the context of genuine friendship, curiosity and openness develop and breakthrough happens as students engage with new friends who love Jesus. Besides our focus on students, Tomáš also serves as Operations Director and National Coordinator of Cru in Prague.

We very much appreciate your partnership as with your help we can continue in the mission of reaching this once Christian country for Jesus again.

Josef Pavlinak (Integrity-Life)

We are a group of young people, mostly students and sometime shortly ‘after’. We like life, fun, honesty, freedom, truth, and functioning relationships. We want to live all of this to the max! We believe that every person has within themselves significant and unique potential. The point is to discover and develop it. Therefore, we create many opportunities where we can mutually refine and impel each other as we go through life.

Many of us found a personal relationship with God during our university studies and therefore our activities are based on Christian values which form the basis of our society. I want to know more

ICP has been partnering with Josef Pavlinak and his work with Integrety Life ministries for many years. He is currently based in Brno, Czech Republic.

Comenius Institute

The Comenius Institute in Prague (KIP) exists to search for, support, and connect people integrating Christian faith and education in the 21st century, following the example of JA Comenius. The mission of KIP is mainly realized in the main program, which is focused on academic mentoring and support of Christian academics.

In the Czech Republic, we want to contribute to fulfilling this challenge by encouraging young Christian university teachers and academics to consider a long-term career at a secular university in order to teach and develop their subject from a biblical worldview and thus influence their field of study.

ICP’s contacts at Comenius Institute are Pavel Hošek and Peter Cimala.

Prison Fellowship

Prison Fellowship International is a Christian social movement without distinction of faith. We help everyone who has been affected by crime: victims of crime, convicts, parolees, families of all, especially children of prisoners and justice workers. We are the world's largest Christian prison volunteer organization working in over 120 countries.

ICP has been partnering with Prison Fellowship for several years through their Christmas program, Angle Tree.

The Angel Tree is a project that aims to give gifts to children of imprisoned parents at Christmas and thereby maintain a mutual relationship, which is usually very fragile. Along with the gift, the child receives a personal letter from the parent as a message that mom or dad is thinking of him and likes him or her.

Homeless Ministry

“IF THERE IS A POOR MAN WITH YOU, ONE OF YOUR BROTHERS, IN ANY OF YOUR TOWNS IN YOUR LAND WHICH THE LORD YOUR GOD IS GIVING YOU, YOU SHALL NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART, NOR CLOSE YOUR HAND FROM YOUR POOR BROTHER;…FOR THE POOR WILL NEVER CEASE TO BE IN THE LAND; THEREFORE I COMMAND YOU, SAYING, ‘YOU SHALL FREELY OPEN YOUR HAND TO YOUR BROTHER, TO YOUR NEEDY AND POOR IN YOUR LAND.’”

DEUTERONOMY 15:7, 11

As part of the Homeless Ministry Network, the ICP Homeless Ministry seeks to open our hands toward the poor in our community by sharing the love of Christ in word and deed with the homeless every Saturday. Our goals are to restore their sense of personhood, dignity and worth by seeing, speaking and listening to them; to provide a hot meal on a weekly basis; to meet practical needs when possible; and to take every opportunity we can to share the Gospel and pray with/for them.

If you would like to be a part of being the hands, heart and feet of Christ to our homeless friends, please contact Jan Adamovic jan.adamovic@outlook.com for more information.

Jessica and Lenny Pisano

Lenny and Jessica live in Greenville, South Carolina, and are raising support to go to Barcelona, Spain. They met at a music rehearsal at North Greenville University, got married a year after graduating college, and stuck around in Greenville mostly because of their church family at Christ Fellowship Cherrydale. Lenny has been working as a Business Analyst, and Jess has been working as a music teacher.

While in Spain, they hope to bring the good news of Jesus to people by supporting the local Church and using hospitality to help build gospel-centered community. Lenny grew up in the Philadelphia area; Jessica grew up as a missionary kid in Prague, Czech Republic and attended ICP with her family, where she also served as a leader in ICP’s youth ministry, Youth Praha. She is excited to be back in Europe! They have been so encouraged by God's leading them to this point, and they are eager to join in what God is doing in Spain.

ANTI-TRAFFICKING TEAM

Heeding the call to pursue justice. Join us in fighting the problem of human trafficking.

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor;
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor,
and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all who mourn;
to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

-Isaiah 61:1-3 ESV

If you have a heart for those in modern-day slavery and want to get involved, please email Melissa Wells at mewissa@hotmail.com  to find out more about ICP's anti-trafficking team's current initiatives.
