Jesus advent at Bethlehem was to save us and prepare us for His return as King. As King, Jesus calls us to live under His authority and reign.
He also calls us to live expectant that He is working now and will return to reign. Luke chapter 2, describes two faithful people Simeon and Anna. Both lived lives of expectancy. They waiting for God's timing and were rewarded for their faithful obedience. We have much to learn fro Simeon and Anna.
